04.02.09 Draw Format
1. Each group will normally consist of three (3) Competitors.
2. Interval time between groups will be ten (10) minutes.
3. If the defending Mid Amateur champion is in the field he shall be seeded in the number one spot regardless of his RCGA Handicap Factor.
4. Order of Play:
Day 1:
a. In ascending order of the Competitor’s RCGA Handicap Factors.
The lower RCGA Handicap Factors will start on Tee # 1 when two (2) tees are being used.
b. Competitors having earned their way into the tournament through the qualifier will be placed in the last 8 groups by ascending scores from the qualifier.
Day 2:
a. Day 1 morning draw plays in the afternoon
b. Day 1 afternoon draw plays in the morning.
c. The starting tees are reversed
d. Pairings and order to remain the same as day 1.
o 7:30 becomes 12:00 & 12:00 becomes 7:30
Day 3:
a. In descending order based on the Competitor’s gross scores for the first 36 holes with the higher scores playing in the morning.
In the event it is known that the afternoon draw on Day 2 will not finish; the morning flights on day 2 may combined and scheduled to play in the morning of day 3 in descending order of their gross scores for the first 36 holes.
b. The lower scores will use tee # 1 when two tees are being used during the morning or afternoon draws. |
